Job Responsibilities
As a CNA, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Observing residents' health and reporting any issues to the supervising nurse.
- Taking care of residents' personal hygiene, including bed baths, shaving, etc.
- Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake.
- Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment, including making beds and transporting residents within the facility.
- Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a CNA program.
- Current CNA state certification.
- Must be in good standing with the state registry.
