Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Chairperson of the Business Division or designee, the Learning Associate is responsible for assisting registered students with course work and helping them develop the personal, professional, and academic skills needed to become independent learners in the field of Supply Chain Management
Supervisory Role Oral and written instructions are received from the Director of the Learning Center or designee.
Supervision is provided to all part-time staff and student workers.
Duties & Responsibilities 1. Conduct group and / or individual tutoring sessions for registered students of the college in Supply
Chain Management program in need of assistance.
2. Assist students in developing and / or improving upon their study skills to become independent and successful learners.
3. Attend and provide input and ideas at all Business Division events and training sessions.
4. Remain current in developmental tutoring information, training materials, and research.
5. Plan, implement, and facilitate tutorial sessions, exam review sessions, and additional workshops for students.
6. Must exhibit a helpful and positive attitude towards all students, peers, faculty, and staff.
7. Maintain strict confidentiality of student records.
