Job Summary :
The Director of Finance is a strategic business partner responsible for managing the financial operations of The Essex Resort & Spa. This role oversees all aspects of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to ensure the financial health, sustainability & growth of the property.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Leadership :
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the resort's goals and objectives.
Prepare and oversee the resort's annual budget, monthly forecasts and long-term financial plans.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with established standards in a decentralized environment.
Maintain and improve financial systems and controls to safeguard the resort's assets.
Willing to take a proactive & hands-on role in tackling complex challenges and supporting the team during critical periods.
Partner with operations, sales, and marketing teams to optimize financial performance.
