What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Cafeteria Workers position at Essex Westford School District?
Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a cafeteria worker in our child nutrition department at Westford Town School and Essex High School. EWSD is pursuing candidates with a genuine commitment to providing nutritious food options to students of all ages within the district!
Pay: $17.77 based on experience
Schedule available: Monday-Friday
- Westford Town School 10:15 AM - 1:15 PM
- Essex High School 9:00 AM - 1:45 PM
Primary job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with the State Sanitation Guidelines.
- Prepare and serve food
- Assist with maintaining inventory.
- Assist in ensuring that students behave in accordance with established cafeteria rules. Report unusual problems to the building administrator or Food Service Director.
- Perform cashier duties: set up cash drawer; operate cash register; cash out at the end of the day.
