Essig Plumbing & Heating LLC is one of the premier providers in Berks County of Residential Plumbing and HVAC services, serving the area proudly since 1938. We are rapidly growing and in need of qualified help due to increased workload in our Warehouse! The ideal candidate will excel at staging parts and equipment at the company warehouse and delivering them to job sites. In addition, you will be expected to maintain an orderly, efficient and safe working environment in multiple warehouse staging bays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a clean & insurable driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check & drug test.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work under deadlines.
- Ability to work with power tools & on ladders
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Team oriented; teachable; earned respect.
- Believes in, promotes and lives out the company vision and values.
JOB DUTIES:
- Load and unload parts and equipment.
- Drive a 16’ box truck and operate a lift gate and pallet jack.
- Organize parts equipment and securely tie-down for safe transportation.
- Check in and verify orders to confirm items, quantity, and condition before storing
- Organizing and cleaning warehouse and trucks.
- Maintain and account for all levels of inventory tools, parts, & equipment—warehouse, truck stock, and delivery truck
- Keeps all tools and equipment stored in their proper locations to verify availability and allow for easy retrieval
- Ensure all materials are properly stored
- Run to supply houses/job sites to deliver parts as needed
- Provide responsive, clear, concise, and consistent communication with customers, dispatchers and technicians.
- Always be resourceful and proactive.
- Other tasks as assigned.
