GENERAL FUNCTION

The Key Account Manager in Assignment is responsible for deepening relationships with insurance carriers representing EssilorLuxottica and its retail brands. The Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with carrier partners and develop strategies that maximize profitable growth for Assignment and the retail brands. The Key Account Manager serves as a leadership resource for carrier interaction including relationship management, service delivery, and initiative execution to meet short and long term strategic and financial goals.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate as member of the Assignment Key Account Team with involvement in:
    • Assignment carrier annual business reviews
    • Process accountability and compliance
    • KPI measurement, and accurate results tracking
    • Marketing and Communication plans to drive Assignment results
    • Work cross-functionally with operations, provider relations, and other internal teams to ensure service-delivery to clients
  • Develop and execute programs to grow retail market share with assigned carriers
  • Participate in contract negotiations in conjunction with Business Development
  • Provide support throughout the Assignment organization as a partner and liaison
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage escalated issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure compliance with company and department policies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of Account Management experience or high-level performer with proven ability in relatable roles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written, required
  • Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Performance oriented and self-motivated; ability to multi-task
  • Make sound business decisions and understands and adheres to a high level of confidentiality and integrity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of vision and / or insurance benefits
  • Understands third party benefits and administration
  • Knowledgeable in continuous improvement method

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
