About The Role
Essity Health and Medical Solutions is looking for a Laboratory Engineer at our Regional Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.

What You Will Do
- Evaluate and give clear recommendations for new or existing product, pack and/or material performance as laboratory expert in innovation projects or other activities, such as value engineering and quality improvements;
- Translate product properties to measurable parameters and select methods and procedures in the most efficient way;
- Develop, verify and validate new laboratory methods to meet consumer and business needs;
- Maintain good knowledge about internal and external methods in own area;
- Participate in enabling projects and manage or participate in method development projects;
- Participate in change requested by business units such as value engineering and quality improvements;
- Evaluate competitor products within own area;
- Work according to procedures and instructions for health and safety, laboratory process and other relevant areas.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering preferred;
- Bachelors degree in engineering with 3 months of experience or 5 years of related experience without engineering degree;
- Strong knowledge or statistics and data analysis;
- Project management skills.
