EHS, Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach, Boys Program - 2024/2025

Estacada School District is seeking an Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach for the Estacada High School Boys Program for the 2024/2025 season.

Position will remain open until filled. 

Stipends: In accordance with Head & Assistant Coaching positions based on experience & current Licensed Salary Schedule 

DESIRABLE CHARACTERISTICS FOR COACHES
* A thorough knowledge of the sport or subject matter.
* Personal and moral character which will be of proper influence upon those whom they coach.

* Willingness to work with youth programs, building an aligned program K-12 that supports the community.
* The motivation to teach and encourage student athletes to realize their full potential.
* Skill and adeptness in teaching - every coach should be a competent teacher with the ability to understand the nature of those being taught.
* An efficient sense of organization.
* Leadership ability to motivate others.
* Ability to relate well with adolescent youngsters in a variety of settings.

REQUIREMENTS
* ASEP or NFHS Certification prior to first day coaching.
* First Aid or ability to obtain training.
* Prior coaching experience preferred.

* Online Public School Works training completed prior to first day with players.

* Must pass Fingerprint-based Criminal Background check that will be required at employee’s expense upon offer of employment.
