The Estacada School District is seeking a dynamic educator to teach Electrical Systems Technology at Estacada High School for the 25/26 school year.

The Electrical Systems Technology CTE Teacher will lead instruction in a comprehensive CTE pathway that equips students with foundational knowledge and skills applicable to diverse careers in the fields of electrical systems, including renewable energy, utilities, and the electrical trades, with advanced coursework offering deeper preparation aligned to specific industry sectors. In collaboration with industry and higher education partners, the instructor will also support the ongoing development and refinement of curriculum to ensure it meets evolving workforce demands, drawing on their own professional experience in industrial engineering, electrical work, or related fields.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Valid CTE Preliminary or Professional Oregon TSPC License (or ability to hold prior starting) with the proper endorsement(s) and committed to keeping their license in good standing with TSPC.
• Prefer at least 3 years of industry experience.
• Prefer teachers who have a strong support of a continuous learning model in the classroom for students and staff; support and believe that a system based on learning, as opposed to teaching, should be our systems focus; supports proficiency based learning and grading, and is willing to take risks.
• Successful classroom experience desired.
• Successful candidates shall demonstrate proficiency to communicate clearly and appropriately verbally and in writing in English. Bilingual skills (Spanish) are preferred but not required.
• Must be flexible and willing to work in person, on campus and/or virtually.
• Meet the District minimum physical requirements, basic skills, and/or health standards for the position.

SALARY, BENEFITS, CONTRACT

• $55,447-$94,492 (Salary listed is for 24/25, currently barganing for 25/26. Prorated for actual days worked and dependent upon verified years of experience and education as shown on official transcripts)
