What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Engineer position at eStaff Search Group?
Data Engineer or Data Specialist to make an immediate impact using Power BI, Power Query and other Data tools. The ideal candidate will use their passion for data and analytics to expand Technology to improve efficiencies and handle a backlog and future deliverables.
- Create and convert raw data into meaningful analysis using interactive, easy-to-understand Power BI dashboards, reports and special business requests.
- Establish and maintain data documentation and reporting standards.
- Developing Power BI/Power Query solutions by working with effective teams from multiple disciplines, leveraging technology standards and best practices.
- Translate business needs to meet the needs of the environment
- Collaborate with teams to integrate appropriate reporting based on system constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge from an accredited University.
- 2 or more years professional experience Power BI
- 1-year professional experience Power Queary
- 1- 2 years professional experience Microsoft Azure
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years’ experience in Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Platform
- 2 years’ experience with SQL
- 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Azure
- T-SQL and DB2 knowledge or experience
Hybrid environment 4 days a week remote.
Option for remote with occasional onsite deliverables
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
