Job Description : Responsibilities :
A cloud database administrator (DBA) manages and secures data in cloudbased systems. They ensure that data is available to authorized users and runs efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Database design : Organize data into a model including what data to store and how to store it
- Database backup and recovery : Create copies of the database to protect it from loss corruption or system failure
- Performance optimization : Improve how quickly and efficiently data is stored and retrieved
- Security : Manage the security of sensitive data including rearchitecting database structures
- Cloud infrastructure management : (Azure) Oversee and influence cloud service providers including infrastructure maintenance and data migration
- Database application analysis : Analyze and design database applications
- Support and management : Support and manage cloud infrastructure
