Responsibilities
- Perform initial-response screening following protocols approved by supervising provider.
- Escort patient to room and prepares patient for examination, procedure, and treatment.
- Obtain vital signs and record in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Obtain and record patient history employing critical thinking skills.
- Prepare for, set up and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments per protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare, administer, and document oral, parenteral medications, and immunizations as ordered by the supervising provider, documenting administration following the six rights in the EHR while maintaining accurate medication immunization records.
- Document care provided during patient visit in EHR.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies.
- Self starter, good communication
- Pediatric experience
- Someone comfortable giving immunizations to children
- Schedule – Variety of shifts. Clinic is typically closed at 5pm o Monday – Friday o 8am – 5pm o 730am – 7pm Monday and Thursday late nights
- Can see 30 patients a day
- 10-week contract
