Job Title : Sr. ETL Developer with SSIS and SQL Development

Work Location : Richmond, VA 23219

Duration : 12 months

Type : Hybrid

Visa : Candidate must be eligible to work on W2 or C2C

Required Skills :

ETL Developer with 7 years of strong ETL SQL development, database, programming, and analytical skills
Strong experience with SQL Server Integration Services - SSIS
Experience writing technical documentation (requirements, process maps, etc.)
Experience in writing technical documentation (requirements, process maps, etc.)
Experience with data governance best practices / procedures
Investment / financial market industry experience
Excellent communicator and be able to produce clear and concise documentation
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
Demonstrated experience working independently with only high level guidance

Roles and Responsibilities :

Assist with overall ETL Support (development, production support, documentation) and other development efforts as needed.

ETL Production Support Monitor and maintain existing ETL processes.

Code Data Movement Provide support in the design, development, and implementation of ETL packages with SSIS.

Development SQL Development support to include creation of stored procedures, views, etc.

Performance Tuning Review existing SQL Queries, Execution Plans, Partitions, and Index(s) to determine performance enhancements for long running queries.

Data Manipulation Provide alternative options to existing data manipulation techniques. Examples would be converting Excel manipulation activities into SSIS packages that reduce process / cycle time of data preparation.
