THE JOB:
The Director of Housekeeping manages all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure cleanliness, service, and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and meeting/conference/banquet facilities to meet company standards to provide outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Builds and manages teams effectively.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management desired.
Five or more years related Housekeeping/Hospitality experience and one year as Supervisor/Manager in a similar setting.
Requires the ability to lead others in the department by mentoring and providing training that results in staff that meets/exceeds guest expectations and provides a high level of service.
Requires general knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping transactions commonly used at comparable hotels or resorts
Must have excellent customer service/communication skills to work with guests and provide high guest satisfaction.
Ability to work on AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by operational needs.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
