Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction activities, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required for construction projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools as needed under supervision.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced tradespeople.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
