Job Summary
The Tractor Trailer Operator is a vital role within our organization, responsible for safely operating tractor trailers across various routes and terrain. This position requires a highly skilled driver who can adhere to Company, Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as FMCSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport freight safely and efficiently, adhering to Company, Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe working condition of the tractor and trailer.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure security of equipment and cargo throughout the transportation process.
- Report any maintenance issues to Fleet Services or supervision promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 21 years of age, with 1 year of driving experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements
- Able to drive in various environmental conditions and terrain
- Prioritize safe driving practices and adhere to company policies
