Job Summary:
The Operator/Production Line Worker plays a crucial role in the Health supplement manufacturing process. This position is responsible for executing various tasks on the production line, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing operations. The meaning of CGMP and FDA must be understood.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate/Production Line Operation : Operate machinery and equipment on the production line to meet production goals and quality standards.
2. Quality Assurance: Follow established procedures to maintain product quality, including proper handling of materials, labeling, and adherence to expiration dates.
3. Sanitation/Personal Hygen: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following sanitation protocols, cleaning equipment, and workstations as required.
4. Cleaning: The first step in maintaining our company's quality is cleanliness. Since cleaning is performed daily and hourly, there should be no issues ensuring the cleanliness of our facility.
5. Materials Handling: Verify expiration dates on materials and components, and use them within the specified date range.
6. Safety : Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including the handling of allergenic materials, and report any safety concerns promptly.
7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and resolve any issues or deviations.
8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including any deviations, as required by company policies.
9. Rework: Assist in creating rework proposals and adjustments as needed to meet quality standards.
10. Warehouse Support : Support warehouse operations, including pallet inspection, material handling, and receiving returned products.
Qualifications and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
· Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work independently.
· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
· Willingness to work in a fast-paced and regulated manufacturing environment.
· Ability to lift and carry moderate loads and stand for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
