What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Event Coordinator position at Estiatorio Milos?
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
- Assists in all aspects of the administration of the Events Department.
- Maintains leads and responds to inquiries from reservation system, emails, and phone calls
- Identifies client needs and expectations before making appropriate suggestions
- Prepares all BEO’s with accuracy for all events, and coordinates with all direct departments related to the operation of the event
- Advises clients on F&B offerings, prix-fixe menus, room set up details, etc.
- Conducts site visits with clients
- Greets clients on site at the time of the event, ensures client is content and adjusts last minute details
- Prints all menus, place cards, cocktail cards, and other stationary/materials as necessary for all events, sources any additional supplies as requested
- Directly oversees set-up for all events
- Regularly updates menus, information packets and floor plans as needed
Requirements
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in events or food and beverage operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with guests, employees, and third-party vendors in a professional manner
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains a professional demeanour and appearance
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently; demonstrates initiative
*The schedule for this role is from Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as per the operational needs of the business.
Annual salary: 60k
