What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at ESTONS GOURMET CREATIONS?
Eston's in Toledo, OH is looking for assistant managers to join our team of our small, family-owned bakery retail store. We are located on 5433 Monroe St., Toledo, OH 43623 near Whiteford Road. Our ideal candidate must be attentive, punctual, and hard-working. This is our retail store only where items are brought in and sold. We have a separate facility that we produce all of our products and would not need baking / decorating skills. Although knowledge of the food industry is a bonus. We are open at this store location Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. We are closed on Sunday and Monday. We are looking to reopen again on Mondays and then the schedule would be Monday through Saturday with one day off from those 6 days. Our ideal candidate must be attentive, punctual, hard-working, excellent in sales, details, math and spelling / grammar.
Responsibilities
- Will become a key holder and have ability to open and close store
- Manage staff
- Communicate with management
- Time management for yourself and all staff
- Compose emails, review work, customer service in person and on phone
- Complete sales reports and inventories along with responsibilities for all money
- We have a wedding, online and in store department to manage
Qualifications
- Must have positive, friendly attitude and be proactive
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Must have good math skills, able to count money, inventory, etc.
- Accuracy is a must
- Managerial skills for following up, motivating and communicating with staff
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, Google Drive including docs and sheets
- Grammar, English and spelling very important
- Great phone skills - answer phones in a polite and courteous manner, take orders over the phone, talk with customers, etc.
We are looking to hire an additional member to our team immediately.
Full time (40 hours or less), hourly wage.
