Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance. This role involves ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The Building Maintenance technician will work with various tools and equipment, including voltmeters and precision measuring instruments, to maintain high standards of operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Work with high voltage systems safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance tasks and projects.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in building maintenance practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with hydraulics and high voltage systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and documentation purposes.
- Ability to analyze problems critically and develop practical solutions promptly.
- Experience using CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks is advantageous.
