Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize patient medical records, ensuring they are complete and up-to-date.
- Review and verify the accuracy of medical documentation submitted by healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards regarding patient privacy and record keeping.
- Facilitate the retrieval of medical records for authorized personnel while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
- Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare practices.
- Experience working with medical records systems and electronic health record software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
