Senior Information Security Consultant with State of California project experience.

Minimum Qualifications :

Information Security Specialist -

The Information Security Specialist performs duties and tasks and applies common competencies as follows :

a. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in executing projects for the State of California.

b. Minimum of three (3) years of knowledge and experience using FedRAMP compliance.

c. Minimum of three (3) years of knowledge and experience working with State Administrative Manual (SAM) 5300 and Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM) standards.

d. Minimum of one (1) reference from the State of California.

e. Minimum of five (5) years of experience applying security policies, standards, testing, modification and implementation.

f. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in NIST 800-53 Framework.

g. Minimum of two (2) years of public sector experience Federal and / or State.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

a. Master’s degree from accredited university

b. Cloud Certification (Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

c. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

d. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

e. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Cybersecurity
