What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Microsoft Access Database Developer / Administrator (Part Time) position at Estrada Consulting Incorporated?
ECI is looking for a MC Access subject matter expert DB to help manage, update and maintain the client's Microsoft Access Database. The MS Access Database is used to upload payments to contract recipients, grant recipients and other entities into the state’s financial system (AFRS). Client's database is a critical part of the agency and responsible for making payments, tracking funding, tracking contracts and grants the agency has for the fiscal year.
The database is an established system that has been used for several years and uses a SQL server. Contractor does not house the client's database or data.
Statement of Work :
Client requires Database Services to maintain and update an established Microsoft Access Database System as needed. Contractor will facilitate database fixes to allow the process of uploading and making payments to vendors, coding changes and problem solving if any issues arise. This contract is for Microsoft Access Database Maintenance Services and updates, not other software or databases. Client will work with Contractor to identify needed Access Database fixes, additions, maintenance as a Work Plan. Work will include the Client Finance Access database as well as other Client Access Databases.
Experience :
- Candidate will have 10 years experience as an Access database developer subject matter expert.
- Shall have a bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
- Prefer Microsoft certifications.
- Remote work.
- Part-time services as needed M-F from 7 : 30 am to 4pm. Hours per week will vary.
- Prefer someone in the Wests Coast should client need an onsite urgent meeting, but the bulk of the work is remote.
