Our busy law office is growing, and we need a legal case manager assistant to work alongside attorneys and achieve clients’ goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal or legal assistant and is skilled in drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that clients’ goals are met. Compensation :

69,000 Annual Exempt salary

Responsibilities :

  • Client First Meeting : Conduct initial consultations with clients after retention, and gather in-depth information.
  • Case Management : Oversee all aspects of assigned cases, including gathering documentation, maintaining case files, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Supervision of Pre-Litigation Pods : Supervise pre-litigation teams, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to best practices.
  • Training and Mentorship : Provide proper training, coaching, and mentoring to new team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with pre-litigation attorneys to ensure that cases are progressing appropriately and to align on case strategies
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to continuously optimize and improve the pre-litigation process for better efficiency and client outcomes.
  • Task Management : Monitor case progression and extend task deadlines in Clio as needed to keep cases moving forward.
  • Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of case progress, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Treatment : Expedite clients' entry into treatment, monitor their pain levels, and consistently follow up on their progress throughout the recovery journey.
  • Liability : Use Investigation results to clear liability with adjusters.

Qualifications :

  • 3-4 years as a Case Manager in a personal injury firm is A MUST.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • paralegal certificate is a plus.
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with case management software such as Filevine and Clio.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical terms, especially in Spanish.
  • Demonstrates empathy and a strong commitment to advocating for clients.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and soft skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, manage productivity, and be accountable for team performance.
  • Tech-savvy.
