Law Firm Case Manager

Our busy law office is growing, and we need a legal case manager to work alongside attorneys and achieve our clients’ goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal or legal assistant and is skilled in drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that our clients’ goals are met. Responsibilities:

• Client First Meeting: Conduct initial consultations with clients after retention, gather in depth information.
• Case Management: Oversee all aspects of assigned cases, including gathering documentation, maintaining case files, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Supervision of Pre-Litigation Pods: Supervise pre-litigation teams, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to best practices.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide proper training, coaching, and mentoring to new team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with pre-litigation attorneys to ensure that cases are progressing appropriately and to align on case strategies
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to continuously optimize and improve the pre-litigation process for better efficiency and client outcomes.
• Task Management: Monitor case progression and extend task deadlines in Clio as needed to keep cases moving forward.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of case progress, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Treatment : Expedite clients' entry into treatment, monitor their pain levels, and consistently follow up on their progress throughout the recovery journey
• Liability: Use Investigation results to clear liability with adjusters

Qualifications:

• Possesses exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Extensive experience conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents is essential
• Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software
• Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once
• High school diploma is required - 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
