We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our powerhouse team. In this role, you’ll work hand in hand with our talented pre-lit team to fight for our clients’ rights from day one through disbursement. We believe in treating every client like family, not just a case number, and we need someone who shares this passion and commitment .
Please Note : This position is for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes ownership of leading a team. If you prefer to work solely on your own caseload and tasks without the responsibility of team leadership or accountability, this role may not be the right fit for you.
Compensation : 120,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate New Cases : Assess the viability of claims and advise clients on their options.
- Client Communication : Regularly gather information, provide case updates, and answer questions about the pre-litigation process.
- Legal Research : Investigate relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategies.
- Document Preparation : Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, and correspondence with insurance companies.
- Negotiations : Engage with insurance adjusters to secure fair settlements, advocating for clients' best interests.
- Collaboration : Work with case managers and support staff to gather necessary evidence and documentation.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
- Team Coordination : Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for potential litigation.
- Case Management : Organize and maintain accurate case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
- File Audits : Conduct initial and monthly audits for every case to ensure proper handling.
- Team Supervision : Supervise a team of 10, ensuring efficient and strategic case management.
- Independent and Strategic Work : Work independently and strategically to ensure cases are actively managed and not delayed.
- Client Communication : Act on behalf of the managing attorney to communicate with clients, and attend appointments and meetings.
