Front End Loader Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Wheel Loader Operator to join our team. As a vital member of our operations department, you will be responsible for effectively loading materials for production in the plant while efficiently operating the front end wheel loader. You must possess excellent mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen sense of situational awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the front end wheel loader to load materials for production in the plant, ensuring accurate and efficient loading.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to plant and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate loading and unloading operations, meeting production schedules and deadlines.
• Develop and implement efficient loading strategies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Participate in on-going training and development to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with new technologies and equipment.
• Provide support and guidance to other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: 1 years of experience operating heavy machinery, preferably a front end wheel loader, or a comparable heavy equipment operator role.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and operation of heavy machinery.

Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment such as:

• Lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy materials and tools (potentially exceeding 50lbs)
• Standing and Walking
• Climbing and Descending
• Bending and Stooping
• Hearing and Vision Acuity: Possess sufficient hearing and vision acuity to identify hazards, respond to alarms or communication signals, and monitor equipment performance both inside and outside of the machinery cabin.
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
