Job Description - Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager- Retail / Self-Storage Units / Restaurants
Preconstruction Services - Assist the Project Manager with the following
Design Review : Analyze design documents and identify key subcontractors.
Site Investigation : Conduct site assessments and labor market analysis.
Bid Development : Create bid packages and participate in pre-bid conferences.
Project Procedures : Develop a Project Procedures Manual and coordinate necessary permits.
Expenditure Management : Approve miscellaneous job expenditures and assist in preparing monthly owner requisitions.
Change Orders : Manage the change order process and aid in loss control management.
Asset Management : Oversee project assets and monthly requisitions.
Scheduling : Develop a purchasing schedule and schedule project meetings.
Safety and QC : Implement quality control and loss control programs.
Contract Compliance : Ensure adherence to contract requirements and coordinate with corporate scheduling.
