What You’ll Be Doing :
- Deposition Preparation & Execution :
- Review pleadings, discovery responses, and case documents
- Develop thorough deposition outlines and conduct depositions (both taking and defending)
- Prepare witnesses for depositions
- Case Assessment & Strategy :
- Participate in case assessments and help shape litigation strategies
- Analyze deposition transcripts to identify key insights for further action
- Client & Team Communication :
- Keep clients in the loop with updates and address deposition-related concerns
- Work closely with attorneys and staff to coordinate deposition logistics
- Legal Research & Analysis :
- Conduct research on case law and statutes to support deposition goals
- Analyze transcripts and evidence to support legal arguments
- Additional Responsibilities :
- Attend court hearings and assist with trial prep
- Review and evaluate pertinent documents, ensuring deadlines are met
