Estuary Power is a developer and long-term owner of utility scale generation, energy storage, and transmission projects. Based in Reno, Nevada, Estuary’s team has over 150 years of experience at leading firms across the renewable and conventional energy and investment sectors.
The Role :
Estuary is seeking one or more Renewable Energy Engineers to work in our Reno, Nevada office who will contribute to all aspects of conceptualizing, developing, and constructing renewable energy projects and building the company for the next stage of growth. This role is envisioned for someone who has recently completed a bachelor’s degree or with up to 3 years of work experience after a bachelor’s degree. Estuary cannot offer H1B sponsorship at this time.
The Engineering Associate will :
- Create initial project designs and energy production models.
- Manage external engineering and technical consultants including defining work scope, ensuring work quality, and keeping work on schedule and budget.
- Review engineering designs and studies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project details across a wide range of disciplines, including schedules.
- Maintain schedules and organize overall project progress.
- Coordinate procurement processes for construction, equipment, and other services.
- Research markets, regulations, and technologies to generate and evaluate opportunities.
- Assist with the evaluation of new technologies and maintaining approved vendor list for equipment.
- Assist with evaluation and due diligence of acquisitions.
- Create presentations and presentation materials for partners and investors.
