Job Description

esVolta seeks motivated and energetic candidates to join our team as Senior Operations Technology Manager to support a rapidly growing portfolio of operating Battery Energy Storage facilities. The role will report to the company’s Operations Director and will work closely with IT, Compliance and AM team members to ensure the organization has appropriate procedures and is applying industry best practices surrounding Cyber Security and Operational Technology equipment management.

The Senior Operations Technology Manager will lead the development, implementation and optimization of technology solutions for renewable energy asset operations. This role bridges the gap between IT infrastructure, and operational technologies (OT) to maximize asset performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integration and management of operational technology systems across renewable energy assets and Remote Operation Center (SCADA, Network monitoring & mgmt., etc.)
• Develop and implement OT security protocols and maintenance strategies aligned with industry best practices
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting systems to optimize performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers
• Lead cross-functional projects to implement new technologies and systems upgrades
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (NERC / CIP, NIST, etc.)
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for OT systems
• Train operations staff on new technologies and provide ongoing technical support
• Develop and implement staffing strategy for OT needs based around scaling with business growth

The anticipated annual salary plus bonus for this position is listed below. The actual salary and bonus offered will depend on the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate.
