Job Overview:
The Clinical Director will oversee all clinical operations, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of mental health treatment provided in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The director will lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including therapists, counselors, and nursing staff, to ensure evidence-based practices and compassionate care for patients dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee the clinical staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support for therapists, counselors, and psychiatric staff.
- Program Oversight: Ensure the IOP and PHP programs are effective, evidence-based, and compliant with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Patient Care: Ensure high-quality care is provided to patients through regular case reviews, development of treatment plans, and integration of patient feedback.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and evaluate clinical staff, fostering professional development and ensuring a collaborative working environment.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain all clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards, and ensure program adherence to all licensure requirements and accreditation standards (such as CARF or Joint Commission).
- Crisis Intervention: Provide oversight in crisis situations, ensuring the appropriate management of high-risk patients.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the clinical budget, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources to programs, staff, and training.
- Quality Improvement: Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous program improvement strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with medical and administrative staff to ensure that all departments are aligned in providing optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Licensure: Active clinical licensure in Tennessee (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or similar).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role, with at least 2 years in a mental health setting (experience with IOP/PHP is required).
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical supervision skills.
Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
