Objective :
Etain is seeking an Assistant Retail Manager to join our growing team in the cannabis industry. This individual possesses a passion for the cannabis industry, a working understanding of retail operations, and exceptional customer service. The person in this position should possess the ability to effectively lead and communicate with a large and diverse team. In addition to working with the team and customers this role will have responsibilities in inventory management, visual merchandising, and overall retail operations. The goal of this position is to provide additional support to the store manager as well as leadership throughout the dispensary.
Essential Functions :
Store Operations Management :
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure the successful execution and allocation of all store responsibilities.
- Support dispensary inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing efficient restocking procedures.
- Conduct cash audits and maintain strict compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement effective employee schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Provide guidance and support in visual merchandising efforts to enhance the overall store aesthetic and promote product visibility.
- Conduct regular compliance audits in line with company and state expectations. Maintain strict records in accordance with company policy.

Work Environment :
This is a retail and office position. Physical requirements include standing and walking for 8 hours, and the ability to lift to 50 pounds. Movement throughout the dispensary will be required to perform supervisory activities. This position will primarily operate only within dispensary hours of operation, but occasional late nights or early mornings will be required to open / close the dispensary, facilitate deliveries and pickups, or oversee maintenance. This position may require you to operate a company vehicle to support the delivery of products to patients and customers. Dispensary hours include weekends and holidays.
