What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at ETalentNetwork?
Job Description:
Reporting directly to Administrative Engineer, the successful candidate will:
- Review fire alarm plans and documents submissions, including fire alarm control equipment and Auxiliary Radio Communication equipment and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial occupancies.
- Fire Alarm equipment review would include: heat/flame/smoke/gas detectors/control panels, audible/visual alarms/devices, alarm/trouble/supervisory signals, automatic/manual initiation, fire alarm panels, central stations, electrical line diagrams, etc.
- Auxiliary Radio Communication equipment review would include base stations, radio transmitters etc. to comply with FCC .
- Review technical calculations related to project submissions. Review technical evaluations and testing reports.
- Prepare oral and written presentations.
- Engage in studies or investigations related to proposed fire alarm systems and radio communication systems to determine design feasibility.
- Prepare written approval/disapproval letters for supervisors
Requested skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills. Team Player. 0-3 years of work experience. Knowledge of fire alarm systems and radio communications systems design and inspection is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Fire Code, Electrical Code and FCC standards is a plus.
Salary : $25 - $35
