Facility Overview
Industry Residential Center (IRC) is located 16 miles south of Rochester, New York. There are secure and limited secure settings. The youth served at IRC are male, adjudicated, juvenile delinquents who are placed with OCFS by Family Court. Depending upon the sentence, youth may remain in OCFS custody until the age of 21. IRC is accredited by the American Correctional Association and has a current population of approximately 78 youth.
Job Duties
A Nurse Practitioner will assess patient needs, order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, diagnose disease, formulate and prescribe treatment plans. by means of interview, health history, physical examination and/or diagnostic testing in collaboration with a licensed physician or physicians In accordance with a written practice agreement and written practice protocols that include specialty areas and are agreed upon in advance by you and the physician of record, your work may include the diagnosis of illness and physical conditions and the performance of therapeutic and corrective measures. Performing other duties deemed necessary for patient care is also assumed and required.
Qualifications
Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Nurse Practitioner of Family Health in New York State. Must maintain a valid New York State license and registration.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p (includes 30-minute meal break)
