The Senior QA Automation Test Architect Lead is responsible for development, maintenance, and execution of automated and manual tests of the company’s software. This seasoned position must design, architect, and deploy automated testing for 90% coverage of our financial services applications. All web browsers and mobile devices must leverage the architecture design for automated testing to remove all manual testing. You will report directly to the VP of Application Architecture and Development. This position will build the architecture to infuse AI into our current automation test system.

Job Description
The Senior QA Automation Test Architect Lead is responsible for development, maintenance, and execution of automated and manual tests of the company’s software. This seasoned position must design, architect, and deploy automated testing for 90% coverage of our financial services applications. All web browsers and mobile devices must leverage the architecture design for automated testing to remove all manual testing. You will report directly to the VP of Application Architecture and Development. This position will build the architecture to infuse AI into our current automation test system.
You Will
- Manage a small team of automated testers and lead company to build test user cases for automation
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and automated tests to ensure that the application meets the business’ functional and non-functional requirements
- Conform to procedures for software configuration and the delivery pipeline for test development
- Perform acceptance and user experience testing necessary to assure that the software is releasable
- Work with product managers and developers to review features, user stories, and acceptance criteria and estimate effort
- Troubleshoot application and data issues in development and test environments
- Must be a visionary in the AI QA automation field that needs low supervision to build state-of-the-art automation system
- Design the architecture to AI enable current 300 automation test system to unlock a code-based system to an AI driven automation system
- This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills equal to the challenges of a complex application and industry
- Needs to have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the interpersonal skills necessary to successfully collaborate with teammates
- Must be detail-oriented and have a conscientious regard for quality and the needs of the end-user
- Prioritize tasks and accomplish assignments autonomously
- Possess the ability to learn quickly in a self-directed manner, keep up with best practices and current technology in the relevant areas
- Thrives in a collaborative environment, working effectively as a part of a cross-functional agile delivery team
- A Bachelor’s Degree in CIS or equivalent experience with 15 years of experience in automated QA testing
- 15 year’s experience in QA test scenario development and documentation
- 10 year’s experience with commercial or open-source test automation frameworks (BrowserStack, Spock, Selenium, etc.)
- 5 years of postman API testing experience
- Experience with an object-oriented scripting/programming language (Groovy, Java, Python)
- Prior experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, and container technologies like Kubernetes or Docker is highly desirable
- Proficiency in testing RESTful web services and related authentication standards, such as OAuth, is preferred
- Knowledge of testing mobile apps using Appium or similar frameworks is ideal
- Familiarity with common programming patterns
- Must be comfortable with MacOS and Windows operating systems
- AI, machine learning, algorithms-based programming
- Salary: $140,000-$160,000
