Job Title: Vice President – Information Security & Head of Global Quality
Location: Irvine, CA

Position Overview
As we scale and mature our global operations, ETAP is seeking a dynamic and experienced executive to lead both Information Security and Global Quality. In this dual role, you will serve as the Vice President, Information Security (ISO) and Head of Global Quality, responsible for protecting ETAP’s digital assets and software platforms, while ensuring the integrity and excellence of our products, services, and business processes.
Reporting to the Group CISO, you will support and implement the enterprise-wide security strategy and serve as the second line of defense for security governance. As Head of Global Quality, you will oversee global compliance with ISO 9001 and NQA-1 standards, lead continuous improvement, and ensure high performance across all quality assurance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Information Security Leadership
Define and execute ETAP’s enterprise-wide information security strategy in alignment with business goals and compliance mandates.
Work with the Group Security Risk Committee to identify current and emerging threats and establish risk mitigation and management practices.
Oversee security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response protocols.
Ensure alignment and compliance with global security standards and regulations: ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, NIST, NERC CIP, GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2.
Champion secure-by-design principles and embed product security throughout the SDLC.
Lead cybersecurity audits, compliance initiatives, and the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and trust.
Leverage group-wide capabilities in threat intelligence, security operations, DFIR, and technical assurance.
Global Quality Leadership
Lead the global quality strategy to drive excellence in software, services, and internal processes.
Own the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of ETAP’s ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System (QMS) and NQA-1 compliance programs.
Manage internal and external audits, certification renewals, and corrective action plans.
Ensure integration of quality controls throughout the lifecycle—from product design to deployment and support.
Partner with engineering, customer success, compliance, and operations teams to embed quality in every function.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure quality risk mitigation across the enterprise.
Education and Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
MBA or strong business acumen aligning technical and quality initiatives with enterprise strategy.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification – required.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification – required.
10 years of progressive leadership in cybersecurity and/or product security roles, with complementary experience in quality management.
Proven success in managing audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance in highly regulated industries.
Deep expertise in cloud and hybrid environments, secure software development, and risk management.
