Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Multifamily Construction Superintendent with over 10 years of expertise in concrete podium and wood framing construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of managing large-scale multifamily construction projects from start to finish, overseeing day-to-day operations on site, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

As a key member of our team, you will coordinate all aspects of the construction process, manage subcontractors, ensure compliance with local regulations, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. The Superintendent reports directly to the Director of Construction and serves as the main field point of contact for subcontractors on-site.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Management : Oversee the entire construction process for multifamily projects, including scheduling, and quality control.
• Site Supervision : Supervise, manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities including site work, foundations and structure, MEPS, finishes thru project closeout.
• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of subcontractors, foremen, laborers, and other personnel, ensuring high levels of performance and safety.
• Scheduling and Coordination : Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to ensure timely completion, resolving any issues that may cause delays.
• Safety Compliance : Enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols, regulations, and OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Quality Assurance : Inspect and verify that work performed meets specifications and quality standards; work closely with quality control teams to resolve any issues.
• Problem Solving : Proactively identify and resolve issues on-site related to construction processes, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including daily logs, safety reports, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance.
• Compliance : Ensure the project complies with all local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.

Qualifications :

o Proficient in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word).

o Thorough knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations.

o Experience with project scheduling and quality control.

o Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
