Snow Plow / Skid Operators needed!
Looking for dedicated and skilled Snow Plow / Skid Operators to join our team for the winter season! The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal operations during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to operate snow removal equipment effectively. Attendance is an absolute must. This seasonal opportunity could lead to a full time position on one of our Maintenance or Landscape Construction Crews in the spring!
Our office is located in Huxley, IA just off of I-35, and we provide services for properties all over the Des Moines Metro area including Ankeny, Pleasant Hill, Des Moines, West Des Moines, Johnston, etc.
Responsibilities
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear parking lots and walkways of snow and ice.
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure all work areas are safe and free from hazards during snow removal operations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed during snow events.
