What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dyno Packager position at ETE REMAN?
Responsibilities :
- Prepare transmissions for shipment, prep units for dyno testing, inform supervisor of all issues
- Visually and thoroughly inspecting units for defects, remove hoses, pressure test for leaks
- Confirm serial number and build sheet to job / order number to verify correct unit was built & being shipped
- Drain transmissions, get shipping pods, install brackets to secure torque convertor
- Clean units after dyno testing, install all cap plugs, pressure tap plugs and labels for each particular unit
- Ensure all packaging goods, paperwork and instructions are correct for the unit and is placed in & on pod
- Utilize computer system to monitor work load & customer shipping orders, process at min 4 units per hour
- Follow and use VKS on every unit to verify that the unit is built correctly and to ETE Reman standards
- Keep an even work flow, follow process and procedures, sweep and mop job area throughout the day
- Suggest improvements, help train new personnel and work overtime when needed
- Follow directions from dyno operator, supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily
