What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Clerk: 1st Shift position at ETE REMAN?
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving incoming shipments and verifying that the correct information is loaded into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system. The Receiving Clerk will also be responsible for helping load outgoing shipments. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy and that customers ultimately receive the correct product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods
- Confirm incoming goods and materials match the Proof of Deliver (POD)
- Deliver packages to departments, record delivers to maintain accuracy
- Store, stack and relocate goods and material throughout the facility based on organizational needs and daily operations
- Scan finished goods onto the transfer truck
- Assemble orders and prepare them for shipment
- Responsible for daily checks of the forklifts, making sure they are charged and checking the lift controls
- Follow all work directions from managers, be proactive and lead department to success
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Valid drivers license
- Comfortable working in a shipping/receiving department that is part of a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with a forklift very desireable
- Competitent computer skills – Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to convey ideas and programs; work in cross-department teams
- Strong attention to detail and excellent follow up skills
- Self starter with a “solutions” mindset
- Ability to promote and live ETE Values on a daily basis. Willingness to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
