Job Title: Business Process Analyst (Process Mapping)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid, 2-3 days a week)
Job Description:
Summary: The Business Process Analyst (BPA) is responsible for translating Process Knowledge into structured Processes Documents and User Stories/Specifications. The BPA conducts the necessary testing and data analysis to ensure successful delivery of technical items.
Responsibilities:
Develop Process Maps and Procedures, identifying common process steps and different flavors, to provide an end-to-end view.
Develop User Stories/Business Specifications for technical implementation based on user needs, how connected systems work, and the higher-level Process Maps and lower-level Standard Operating Procedures. Engage SMEs in understanding their needs to ensure that the specifications reflect their requirements and the organizations objectives.
Initial User Story demand prioritization. Act as the day-to-day Product Owner.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing
Conduct Data Collection and Analysis to identify Data Excellence gaps; drive data cleanup.
As assigned, define KPI Definitions and Reporting requirements.
As assigned, develop Training Materials.
Skills Required:
Business Process Mapping, Microsoft Visio or equivalent.
Support: You are supported by the client Global Process Expert, who is responsible for:
Providing Subject Matter Expertise (or identify who can) to enable the creation of Process Maps, SOPs, and KPI Definitions.
Confirm Completeness and Accuracy of Business Specifications/User Stories generated by the Business Process Analyst.
Final User Story Demand Prioritization; Final Accountable Product Owner. Final User Acceptance Testing Signoff
Provided regular stakeholder and management updates on status, including progress towards meeting business objectives.
