Patient Assistance :

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and using the restroom.

• Help with patient mobility, including positioning, transfers, and walking.
• Provide support with feeding, ensuring that patients are properly nourished and hydrated.
• Ensure patient comfort by making adjustments to bedding, pillows, and personal items as needed.

Vital Signs Monitoring :

Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate.

Patient Observations :

Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any signs of distress or abnormalities.

Hygiene and Infection Control :

Assist with hygiene and personal care, ensuring proper infection control protocols are followed.

Communication and Documentation :

Report patient conditions, concerns, and observations to the nursing staff.

Patient Comfort and Emotional Support :

Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families.

Assisting with Treatments and Procedures :

Assist nursing staff with minor medical procedures as directed, such as taking specimens, applying dressings, or performing range-of-motion exercises.

Environmental Maintenance :

Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked with supplies.

Collaboration :

Work collaboratively with registered nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications :

Education and Licensing :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certifications :

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certifications may be required or preferred.

Experience :

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. On-the-job training may be provided.

Skills :

Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
