Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced AEM Content Author to join our team in a hybrid role based out of one of our primary hubs. This position supports the migration of legacy web pages to AEM templated pages, ongoing page maintenance, and new page creation. The ideal candidate will work independently, ensuring quality and accuracy while adhering to established brand guidelines.
As part of a collaborative, fast-moving team, the incumbent will partner with UX strategists, developers, and QA professionals to deliver high-quality web pages while advocating for AEM best practices and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate and rebuild legacy web pages into AEM templates.
- Author, manage, and maintain pages using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5) components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet authoring needs and deliver projects.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks and resolve defects.
- Adhere to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and AEM style guide best practices.
- Provide guidance on AEM authoring fundamentals to team members.
- Advocate for SEO, accessibility, and web development best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with AEM (6.3–6.5) in a large organization.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Advanced understanding of AEM authoring fundamentals, including DAM asset management and content fragments.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), SEO, and responsive design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, task management, and independent work capability.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills in a remote/hybrid environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Salesforce forms, JSON, and Adobe Target.
- Familiarity with SASS/LESS, Jira, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and responsive design.
- Basic knowledge of UI design and Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to mentor and train team members on AEM fundamentals.
Interview Process
- Two rounds of virtual interviews via Teams (camera on).
- Candidates will need to provide sample URLs or websites showcasing their work, explain their authoring process, and detail their role in quality assurance and publishing.
