Job Title: Fraud Analyst
Location: Tempe AZ 85281
Position Type: Onsite
Pay Rate: $27.50/hr
Duration: 6 Months on contract with possible extension
- Candidates should expect to be in the office location from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with a minimum 1/2 hour lunch. Shift Schedule: 1st
The Fraud Analyst will be responsible for reviewing merchant accounts for unusual or suspicious activity to ensure compliance with BSA reporting requirements.
JOB DUTIES:
- Review merchant accounts for unusual or suspicious activity to meet BSA reporting standards.
- Pull reports from source systems for analysis.
- Identify unusual or suspicious activities in accounts and compile supporting documentation.
- Create case note documents and run macros as needed.
- Complete suspicious activity reporting forms and write descriptive narratives.
- Monitor workload to ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables) – at least 1 year of experience.
- Experience with Word and other office tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to write concise, clear narratives.
- Effective time management and interpersonal skills.
