Job Description:
Provides day-to-day inventory control support to manufacturing and distribution areas. Conducts cycle counts scheduling, physical inventory coordination, inventory variance research and reconciliation as required. Uses inventory control operating systems and report tools to control material flow and compile records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, inventory accounts, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine physical and financial variances in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
Advanced: Uses ability as a skilled specialist to contribute to the development of new concepts/techniques and to complete assignments/tasks in innovative and effective ways. Expert knowledge on the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that is extremely complex in nature where a high degree of independent judgment, initiative and technical knowledge are required to resolve problems. Work is completed independently and has ability to handle most unique situations. Frequently determines methods and procedures for new assignments.Typically requires 5-10 years experience.Advanced knowledge in the selected field.
