Job Title : Network Engineer
Job Type : Contract to Hire; 12 Months Contract to Hire
Location : Indianapolis, IN 46206
Hybrid role - 4 days on-site / week
Essential Job Functions :
- Assist in the management and operation of infrastructure services, providing support to the team.
- Contribute to the implementation of infrastructure requests and projects.
- Work with client and other support teams to understand requirements and then develop network engineering documentation including configurations, instructions for deployment, and supporting network diagrams.
- Help maintain the performance and availability of infrastructure systems while troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and support design and / or implementation.
- Participate in the implementation of Network devices in the infrastructure environment, specifically, but not limited to, routers and switches.
- Assist in the development of infrastructure documentation, including drawings, inventories, and reports.
- Contribute to the optimization of resource allocation for infrastructure tasks and projects.
- Effective communication to provide support and collaborate with team members.
- Work in close partnership with Network team to ensure coverage of network deliverables and handling escalations.
