Job Description
The Technology and Product Development Product Security organization is searching for a Technical Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and deliver on high-priority, highly visible projects within the Clients Product Development Product Security team.
The candidate will drive cross-functional initiatives, develop action plans, establish milestones, mitigate risk, and provide status updates.
The position requires frequent interaction with various levels of leadership within TPD and partner organizations.
These projects are often long-term and require persistent follow-up and coordination.
As a Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for:
Project Management lead for multiple cybersecurity technical projects including compliance and vulnerability management
Partner with stakeholder organizations across clients to align on delivery dates and project status
Manage and mitigate risks to keep projects on track
Effectively communicate key successes/wins and other significant project statuses
Capture and report key metrics related to projects
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and create efficiencies
Support leadership with executive reporting
What Were Looking For...
You'll need to have:
An Engineering or Computer Science Bachelors degree in a related technical field.
5 or more years performing cybersecurity technical project management involving initiatives with cross-functional teams.
3 or more years of security engineering experience, software development or software architecture.
Experience in managing projects in cybersecurity domains including security compliance, vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, and risk management.
In-depth knowledge of cyber security and technical domains including vulnerability management and risk management.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills and working effectively with other Project Managers
Ability to manage several different projects and work streams at the same time effectively
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
CISSP or similar certifications
Experience with Cybersecurity terminology like source code scanning, asset management, authorization, authentication, etc.
Experience with Cybersecurity tooling such as vulnerability management tools (e.g. Tenable) and application scanning tools (e.g. Fortify or Blackduck)
Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and organize data and develop recommendations
Demonstration of strong technical and cybersecurity skills
