Job Title: Travel RN Emergency Department (ER) | 13 Weeks

Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue

Unit: Emergency Department (ER)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Variable | Every other weekend required

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years RN Experience | 1 Year in Emergency Department

Unit Overview

This high-volume Emergency Department offers 101 beds and sees over 100,000 visits annually. Youll join a team-driven environment that emphasizes quality patient care, real-time communication, and diversity in service delivery.

Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 101
• Patient Ratios: Typically 4:1 for medical; up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Staff Support: Techs (cardiac monitoring, internal processing), triage nurses, unit clerks (day and night)
• Floating Policy: No floating outside the ER, but must be flexible to float within ER sections
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
• Scrub Color: Navy
  
  

Certifications Required (prior To Start)

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• CPI
• NIHSS
• ENPC (within 90 days of start)
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years total RN experience
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Experience in high-volume ED settings (100,000 visits annually)
• Strong teamwork and coaching skills
• Flexibility to work across all ED zones
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke centers
• Previous experience in healthcare systems with similar acuity
• Multi-cultural patient population experience
