Ob Requirements
- Education:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in New York State.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical or intensive care setting.
- Experience in the PACU, critical care, or recovery room is a plus.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred, depending on patient population.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical skills and ability to handle post-operative complications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients as necessary.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
